Open Focus and tap Start. A standard Pomodoro is 25 minutes. You can pick 25 or 50 minutes, or tap Custom to pick a length from 10 to 90 minutes. To focus on a task, tap the task chip on Focus, or tap the play button of the task in Tasks.
Tap Pause to stop the clock and Resume to go on. Tap +5 to add 5 minutes. Tap End to log the minutes you focused or to discard them. Logged minutes count in your focus time, but they do not count as a Pomodoro and do not fill a task dot.
Hold Start for 2.5 seconds to begin a strict session. The dots fill while you hold. A strict session has no pause and no +5. To stop it early, hold the lock for 2 seconds and confirm. A stopped strict session does not count. To make every start strict, open You and turn on Strict mode.
When a Pomodoro ends, tap Start break. After four rounds, the break is long. You can change the break lengths and the number of rounds in You. To start breaks and the next Pomodoro without a tap, turn on the two auto-start switches in You.
Odak can play brown, pink or white noise while you focus. Choose it with the noise button on Focus or in You. Odak makes the noise on your iPhone and downloads nothing. The noise stops when you pause and during breaks.
On Focus, tap Study with me. The screen turns to landscape, shows a large ring and stays on. Tap the screen to show the controls. Tap Close to go back.
In Stats, tap the share button. Odak makes an image of today's focus time, Pomodoros and time by tag, and opens the share sheet. The image never shows task titles. The button works after you focus for at least 1 minute today.
Open Odak, then You, and turn on Live Activity. Then, in the iOS Settings app, open Odak and turn on Live Activities. The Live Activity uses your accent color.
Odak has a Today widget with your focus time and goal, a Start widget that starts a Pomodoro, and the Dates widgets. To add a widget, touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose Odak.
Odak works on iPhone Duo from Odak 1.3.1. Closed, every screen stays clear of the clock at the side. Open, Focus splits along the fold: the ring on one side, and Start, Pause and End on the other. Fold or unfold during a Pomodoro, and the timer keeps going.
Dates are now in the You tab. Add a date with a title only; a photo is optional. To change or delete a date, open it and tap More.
Odak is in English and Turkish. It follows the language of your iPhone. To change it for Odak only, open the iOS Settings app, then Odak, then Language.
Odak stores everything on your iPhone. There is no account. To keep a copy of your sessions, tasks and tags, open You and tap Export my data. To bring a copy back, tap Import a backup; Odak adds the new records and keeps the ones you have. Read the privacy policy.
